The verse:

Jesus went to the country of the Gadarenes, near to Galilee, close by or so it seems
Met a man who had devils who possessed him sore, with no clothes to wear, they did control his core
Then the man shouted out with such a firm decree, to the Savior, “What, have I to do with thee?”
He did recognize the Son of God most high, and he plead with him, “Torment me not,” he cried

Then the Lord looked upon him, and did ask him there, just what was his name, could he right now declare?
Then the man answered, “Legion,” he was more than one, because the devils in him had his life undone
Then the devils besought Jesus to not cast them out, to the deep, dark sea, that they had heard about
But instead let them go into a herd of swine, into a lot of pigs, much more than eight or nine

He did let them go, so to the swine they ran, and got inside the pigs, when they did leave the man
Then the pigs went crazy and began to race, right down a steep, steep hill into a real wet place
They did run so fast their wits they did forsake, because they ran right down into a great big lake
And the folks who watched them spread the word in town, of how the herd of swine there in the lake did drown

Many people in the city took a walk to see, the man who had been healed, who Jesus had set free
When they saw him in his right mind, they did surely cower, 'cause they feared the Lord, and all His awesome power
They did ask the Lord to leave and go that day, for they were scared of Him, and of His wondrous way
And so He left them there and far away did go, but charged the man he healed to let the people know.

About the work of God, and of the Lord's good will, and how the devils had been cast from him that made him ill
And the people listened to the words he said, and the fame of Jesus, everywhere was spread
When Jesus came again upon Him they did wait, for they began to know just how the Lord was great
For a fearsome legion he had cast away, and now a man was whole who was the devils' prey
